Q: What software is this digital planner works on?

A: Ticking planner is built on AI tools that are compatible only with Microsoft Excel. A computer or laptop is required to use the planner. Also, it doesn't supports Google sheets.

Q: How many tasks can I assign in a day and in a week?

A: You can assign a up to 40 tasks for a day and 200 tasks in a week.

Q: How do I start using the planner and track my schedule?

A: To activate the planner simply tap the "Activate" button located on the top left corner. Planner will come to life & start the live tracking.

Q: What kind of inputs do I need to provide?

A: You need to fill in your inputs in the setup table. The text fields for setting up the planner are highlighted in green color font.

Q: How to update "START" column?

A: Enter the start time in HH:MM AM/PM format. eg . 07:00 AM

Q: How to update "TASK" column?

A: Enter the task details in text, eg. Meeting with the client.

Q: How to update "LENGTH" column?

A: Enter the time to be assigned to a task in minutes. eg. for 1 hour enter 60.

Q: How to update "FREQUENCY" column?

A: If a task is for a single day, select that day eg. Monday or Saturday.

If a task is for weekdays i.e. Monday to Friday, select "Weekday".

If a task is for the weekend i.e. Saturday or Sunday, select "Weekend".

Q: Do I need to enter my events in a specific order?

A: No, you can jot down your events and thoughts as they come. The planner will organize them for you. Press "Sort" to organise the sequence and correct the formatting.

Q: Is there a way to sort and correct the sequence of the planner?

A: Yes, you can use the sort button to correct the sequence and formatting of the planner.

Q: Can I view the schedule for a specific day?

A: Yes, you can select the day to see the schedule (Mon to Sun) for next 7 days, but you can't search a date. The planner shares the weekly view, not more than that

Q: Can I see the schedule for multiple days at once?

A: No, the planner displays the schedule for only one day at a time.

Q: Can I sync the planner with my calendar?

A: Yes, you can sync the calendar one day at a time for a maximum of 7 days. The sync feature is available for both Google and Apple calendars. For apple calendar you need to add Google account in it. Steps given in 2nd sheet of planner.

Q: Can I see a weekly or monthly view in the planner?

A: No, the planner only shows schedule of one day at a time.

Q: Does the analog clock in the planner stop ticking?

A: No, once you start the analog clock, it continues to tick without stopping, until you close the planner excel file.

Q: What if I'm not satisfied with the planner?

Q: How do I customize the planner?

A: You only need to edit the texts given in the setup table. The text fields for customization are highlighted in green. Do not delete or add any row, column or any sheet from the planner.

Q: Is there a guide for syncing the calendar with Google and Apple?

A: Yes, the second sheet in the planner titled "THE GOOGLE CALENDAR UPLOAD" provides a step-by-step process for syncing the calendar with Google and Apple. Press Export button at the bottom of the sheet and it will create a file in the required format to upload in Google calendar.

Q: Does the planner calculate productivity?

A: Yes, the planner calculates your productivity for the day based on the tasks you mark as "DONE" in the status column.

Q: Will the planner notify me if there are overlapping tasks?

A: Yes, if any task clashes with a previously planned task, it will be automatically highlighted in red in the main table, to prevent overlapping.

Q: Does the planner show the allocated time blocks for each task?

A: Yes, the planner displays time blocks based on the duration of your planned tasks.
